Results of ESF projects of the 2014-2020 programming period
User-oriented development of services that support employment has proved to be a successful method in projects funded by the European Social Fund during the programme period 2014-2020. Together with experts from ESF projects and the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres) we have compiled a collection of methods in which the client experience and the service process have been particularly successful.
Funds from the European Social Fund are used to develop services to support employment across Finland. Too many good services built in ESF projects remain the knowledge of a small group of people or are not identified at all. The purpose of this publication is to highlight and share successful service processes. Our aim is also to inspire people to share more good practices.
The ideas and experiences described in these good practices can be freely used by everyone.
We have built themes around the good practices in a very practical way:
- Guidance of clients
- Company-oriented training and coaching
- Integration of immigrants
- Networks in the building of services
- Towards employment
- Social inclusion
- Methods for developing the services.
It is important to learn from methods that have already been trialled and create ones that are even better!
Now that decisions regarding the growth services are about to be made, ESF projects have the opportunity to show that they can serve as a significant reserve of knowledge based on experience and as a platform for experimentation for the future employment services.
This publication has been inspired by the support group for employment projects that operates in connection with the ELY Centres and the editorial working group set up for the editing of this publication. Thank you!
